OUR MISSION
In Matthew 23:23, Jesus warns the teachers of the law that they
have focused on tithing but neglected the weightier matters of the law: Justice, Mercy and
Faith. Justice means being made just or righteous or right standing with God. Mercy means compassion that moves one to action. If you study the scriptures, you will see that most of Jesus’ earthly ministry focused on
justice, compassion that moved Him to action, and faith.
God wants us to have a relationship with Him and to have right standing with Him so He paid the ultimate price for our sins--His own blood and His own life. For our sins, our Lord was beaten in His face beyond recognition and spat upon, had His beard pulled out of His face, had a crown of thorns pressed onto His head, had His flesh ripped from His body by 39 lashes,
was stripped naked and had His hands and feet nailed to a cross, and was hoisted into the air,
nailed to a cross for six hours for all the world to see, and was pierced in His side.
But even as He faced death He was moved by the faith of the sinner who was being crucified,
and had compassion and made him righteous and promised him eternal salvation.
Our goal with Matt. 23:23 Ministries is to focus on the weightier matters of
Justice, Mercy, and Faith, so that people connect with God and see justice in their lives now and their purpose. It begins
with understanding that God has given us everything we need to win every battle we face in life
and seeing God as a righteous judge who holds court each day and invites us to appeal to Him
every day to address every issue we face in life. We will never achieve our goals in life until we
learn the protocol of appealing to God as our righteous judge and how to operate in the Courts of
Heaven to receive justice in our lives now. I am so happy to embark on this journey with you. We
are beginning this ministry with the launch of One Hour, a weekly session of Praise, Purpose and
Power.
