We all have giants that torment us. Whether its fear, doubt, unbelief, insecurity, sickness, disease, anxiety, depression, feelings of loneliness, thoughts of suicide, inferiority or not fitting in, or issues with relationships or finances. Some issues we have brought on ourselves, some caused by others, and others passed through our blood lines. God has given us guidance in His Word --the Bible-- on how to take down the giants in our lives.
Today we begin the process for the giants to fall. Some giants will fall overnight, but others have been months, years and even generations in the making and will take some time to fall. Remember that we are spirits and we have a mind/soul and we live in a body. Many times there are spirits behind the giants that we face that must be conquered before the giants fall. First, ask for wisdom to learn how to pray in the Courts of Heaven, James 1:5-6, and wait and watch each day at the gates of wisdom and be filled with wisdom. Prov. 8. Understand that God is the Righteous Judge but first He is our Father and the King of Glory and He wants us to win every battle. He holds court every day and stands ready to give us justice now over every giant we face. Luke 18:1-8; 2 Tim. 4:6-8, Psalms 103:6. Revelation 12:10-11 states that we have an accuser who is before the Lord day and night and that we overcome him by the blood of the lamb, the word of our testimony and we loved not our lives unto death, and Revelation 19:11 reminds us that God judges in righteousness and then He wages war. Instead of being the accused or being tormented by our giants, what if we go on the offensive and take our giants to Court, get a righteous judgment and then go to war? That's exactly what Jehoshaphat did in 2 Chron. 20.
Here is the protocol. Just a warning -- be prepared to surrender your life. Enter into the spirit realm and the Courts of Heaven in prayer by faith. Thank God for His mercy and grace, but legally, God has to judge our sin, transgressions and iniquities and all accusations against you, Ps. 51:3; Ps. 103; Zech. 3:1-8, before He can hear your prayers and there is an accuser before Him day and night making charges against the us. Before you legislate or pray or make a demand on God's promises to you, you must litigate and adjudicate claims against you. When someone makes a charge or complaint against you in court, you must answer the complaint and list all defenses, and if you fail to do so, the charges remain or there is a default. Answers to our prayers can be delayed by charges against us that we have not answered. Praise God that we have an answer to every charge that has been and ever will be laid against us and a defense that causes the immediate dismissal of all charges against us. Humble yourself and listen to accusations made against you everyday, and ask that the accuser is summoned to court and state any accusations agianst you. Agree quickly with the accusations and Repent, Repent, Repent and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and make Him Lord of your life and be filled with His Spirit. Many people never experience all of God's promises because they are unwilling to truly repent, especially for their own iniquities, and ministers, even the most famous ministers and prophets in the earth, can be filled with pride and fail to repent. Moses is a perfect example. He was perhaps the greatest of the prophets and did not go into the promised land because of iniquities and disobedience. The Bible says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, Rom. 5:8, and He was bruised for our iniquities. Is. 53:3-5. Know that our Lord did not just die for us, He died as us and paid the price for our sin, transgressions and iniquities forever, and obtained a righteous judgment from the Righteous Judge for us forever. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the Righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor. 5:21. After repenting, ask the Righteous Judge for a righteous judgment. In the legal profession, we call this "res judicata," which means that a matter which has been adjudicated by a competent court may not be pursued further by the same parties. Your defense to every charge is the blood of Jesus and res judicata, and this results in the immediate dismissal of all charges against you. But you must show up in court and state your defense! This is the word of your testimony.
Now, you are ready to pray and legislate and deal with the giant. Ask the Lord to open the book of heaven with your destiny and see the purpose for your creation. Ps. 139:16; Jer. 1:5. Confirm your covenant with the Lord -- with the tithe (Mal. 3:10), which opens the windows of heaven and a portal with the Lord and rebukes the devourer. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal every sin, transgression and iniquity in you daily, and repent for everyone you have offended and then repent daily until all of it is uprooted and the accuser has nothing on you. Specifically, repent for your role in creating the giant, according to 2 Chron. 7:14, Job 42 and Psalms 51, and any curses caused by your sin, transgressions and iniquities. Forgive everyone who has ever offended you, even if they have not asked for forgiveness. Remember Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. Ask the Lord to summon your giant to the Courts of Heaven by faith, Heb. 11:6. State your claim against your giant just like Jehoshaphat. Know that the giant was defeated on the cross by the blood of Jesus (Col. 2:13-15), and he has no authority to torment you, nor any legal claim against you. Every giant you face in life falls into one of seven categories and our Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood in seven places to defeat every one of the giants and sever the power behind giants: 1) in the Garden of Gethsemane to overcome our will and the power behind our will; 2) at the whipping post for every category of disease and the spirit behind the disease; 3) at the guard's station with the crown of thorns crushed in his head for our wisdom and wealth and the power behind ignorance and poverty; 4) nails in His hands for our authority and power over every spirit in the earth; 5) nails in His feet for our dominion in the earth; 6) internal bleeding for our sin, transgressions and iniquities and the spirits that cause us to sin; and 7) pierced in His side for our emotional wounds and the powers that fuel our emotional wounds. Take authority over this giant and confess that the giant is defeated and condemn your giant to judgment and keep him there according to Is. 54:17.
Look bock over your life and judge God justly and conclude that He is faithful and EVERY word He has ever spoken is true and I can trust Him to do exactly what He says He will do. Has He been faithful in being a: Provider? Check. Protector? Check. Keeper? Check. Deliverer? Check. Healer? Check. Saviour? Check. Redeemer? Check. He is the Faithful God. Seek wisdom, God's first creation, daily and place yourself at the gates of wisdom and be led in the paths of righteousness and receive all the promises of God. Prov. 8: 12-36. Activate your faith and speak and send forth God's Word and His will for you on the wings of faith, and align your will with God's will. Receive a righteous judgment from the Courts of Heaven and then wage war.
Not only did our Lord obtain a judgment for us, His Spirit lives in us. Live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Josh. 1:8; Deut. 8:3. Stir up the gift of God within you by the laying on of hands and become all God created you to be by the indwelling of His Spirit. 2 Tim. 1:6-7. Set the Lord, who is greater than any giant you face, before you always, at your right hand, and be not moved. Psalms 16:8. Be anxious for nothing but let your prayers and petitions be known unto God. Phil. 4:6. Ask the Lord for a divine strategy on how to annihilate the giant, should it appear again. Work the divine strategy, using every resource God places in you and within your reach. Deliver a death blow to the giant in his weak or exposed area and crush his head by confessing only what God says about you for attacks on your exposed areas like your mind, and reconcile relationships and sow into His kingdom to address financial issues.
Partner with God and pray in the Spirit and shut up the mouth of hell and snatch souls from hell, Is. 5:14, Jude 20, 23. Prove to the enemy that when he attacks you he destroys his own kingdom because you always respond by praying in the Spirit and you increase the Kingdom of God and take acts of faith, repay evil with good, and sow seeds into the Kingdom of God.
Ask the Lord to move your case to His Throne of Grace. Learn how to trade with Father the King of Glory as a priest. First offer your life as a living sacrifice. Build a prayer altar in your home and service it by bringing an acceptable offering to the Lord daily --day and night-- and trade with Him to see your giant slayed--- praise and worship, a fast, alms to the poor, and sow seeds of repentance in others to partner with God and increase the Kingdom of Heaven (Rom. 14:17).
Bring tithes, offerings and gifts in righteousness (Mal. 3). Every offering should be washed in the blood of Yeshua. Allow God to mature you and your faith and establish you and become a god in this world and to others. Create the world you want to see by imaging what you want to see manifest, speaking it into existence and becoming what you want to see: love, joy, peace, kindness, justice, hope, mercy, faith, forgiveness, reconciliation, healing, protection, provision, wisdom, etc. Give and do for others what you would like God to give and do for you. When you do good for others such as praying for them, God rewards you. Eph. 6:8. Build up a reserve of the currency of heaven, faith, in your spiritual storehouse by obedience and righteous living and praying for others, and when you have needs in the natural realm, make a demand on your covenant, and a demand on your account or make a withdrawal and cash out your account by faith, by travailing in prayer and giving God no rest until your prayer manifests in the earth. Praise God.
